Do you remember the song, “My Grown-Up Christmas List”? The chorus states,

“No more lives torn apart. And wars would never start. And time would heal all hearts. And everyone would have a friend. And right would always win. And love would never end. This is my grown-up Christmas list”

Our prayer focus this week is similar. It’s for those who don’t yet know God’s love for them. Who have become disillusioned with life. Who are either angry with God or don’t believe in Him. Can you imagine a life without a relationship with God? Without hope for a future? Without His peace?

Our prayer this week is also our blessing and prayer over each of you. There are thousands who receive these Monday morning prayer emails and join us in pray it and pass it on to others. If one can put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand, what about thousands upon thousands who are praying these prayers each week? I believe we are moving mountains.

So as we pray this week, be encouraged, that our prayers are indeed availing much. (NOTE: At the end of this week’s prayer is a gift for you.)

Father, we thank you first and foremost for sending Your Son, Jesus, to come to Earth to live and die that we might live. We are grateful for His blood, shed for us. Thank you Lord for the best Christmas gift ever.

We pray for those who do not know you. Who get up each day without knowing Your love, hope and peace. We pray for the blinders that have kept You hidden from their hearts & eyes to be removed. That the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened to know the hope of their calling. For we know if people could see You and know You, they would receive You. May our world’s desperate need for help against the corruption and evil that presses in, turn into a heart-cry to know You.

We pray for our family, the prodigals, and declare that they are coming home. That the pain, anger, offense and pride that has kept them away would be broken off and replaced with hunger for You. May they hunger and thirst for righteousness, so they would be filled. We pray they would know the Truth and the Truth would set them free.

We pray that any erroneous belief system they have embraced would be dismantled and that they would have the mind of Christ. We declare we will see our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the work of Your hands, keeping Your name holy. That they will acknowledge You and stand in awe of You. That if they err in mind that they will know the truth and where they have criticized and complained, that they will gain understanding and accept instruction.

We pray for the billion soul harvest that has been prophesied. We pray for laborers for that harvest. May the Church be ready to usher in the greatest revival the world has known.

On this Christmas day in every home and every heart, we pray for an encounter with You—especially for those who do not know You. That they will recognize You are knocking on the door of their heart and that they will open it to let you in.
