What Others Are Saying

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Prayer Strategy

A friend and I have been praying for revival, specifically for San Bernardino County, California for the past year.  We pray for all 31 cities, found as many of the church names we could, the city mayors, council etc.  Medical staff, the 3 planned parenthoods and much more.

When the governor finally released the mask mandate, we felt released to start going to the cities one by one and praying on site.  We started by studying its history, locating a map and then asking the Lord to show us where to go and what to pray for and for divine encounters to encourage anyone in the ministry.

By the way, with an area of 20,105 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, although some of Alaska’s boroughs and census areas are larger. The county is close to the size of West Virginia.

Our mission verse is Isaiah 35:3-4 NLT, With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.

Our goal is to raise up intercessors that unite in prayer for the county.  We just went to Crestline a few weeks ago and God did more than we could imagine.

I’ve been following city-by-city prayers for a few months now. I forget how I stumbled across it but have drawn so much inspiration, encouragement and prayer power from this awesome tool! The write up, the prayer, the additional resources are absolutely brilliant every single week! They are obviously God inspired and so very helpful in uniting hearts and prayers in a very powerful way to pray for our cities and nation. I look forward to it every week and pass it on to others.

Thank you so much for taking on this mighty work and making it a blessing to many others!

These weekly prayers have helped me tremendously in knowing how to pray for our city, our government, our leaders, etc. The Word-based prayers, have been supernaturally powerful. I believe, though not necessarily see, that God is moving in response to them as we agree in our praying. Thank you for all your diligence and faithfulness in doing this!  Blessings and prayers,

Mary B.

My husband and I have been praying every day using each week’s prayer for the week, as well as the first prayer for our city every other day. We use this prayer to also pray for our state, Washington, the USA, and North America which includes Canada. Every evening between 6 and 7 PT, or as close to that time as we are able, we pray. We haven’t missed a day. I also made 10 copies of the first prayer and handed them out to friends, and was asked for even more and they in turn have made copies and shared, so prayer has increased because of this one prayer. WOW!

After we pray, we sing praise to God. Quite often my husband has a message in tongues which I interpret. It has been life-changing for sure. We haven’t “seen” results in the natural for a lot of what we’ve been praying and declaring, but we know we WILL, in God’s time. What we have experienced the most is getting closer in our relationship with God and each other. One of the things God keeps saying in His messages to us is, “watch and see what I am about to do”. We are WATCHING and believing, especially for revival in our family, church and city. I look forward to the next prayer every week and it has been a privilege to pray.

Last week I was talking to an intercessor friend and I mentioned how my husband and I were experiencing back pain in exactly the same place, which I thought was unusual. Then she mentioned she too was having back pain in the same area. Then I realized that other intercessors I know have been experiencing the same thing. Obviously, this indeed was a spiritual attack and not natural, so we rebuked the pain and commanded it to leave and immediately the pain was gone.

It tries to return but it doesn’t remain for long as we keep fighting it. After we prayed, I realized something else. It seems intercessors are being attacked with back issues because we are the backbone of the body of Christ. As we pray, like the back, we hold up the body of Christ. As we continue to pray and believe we know there is indeed VICTORY ahead!!!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful prayers!  It helps to pray, declare and decree prayers that have already been written so we can be in one accord.  May God Continue to use your gifting In this ministry. God bless you and keep you!

Thank you for all the work you do in bringing encouragement to us and showing us how to pray.  We have since started a women’s prayer group at our church to pray for our nation.  We are small but we are in the battle for our nation. Many thanks!

Thank you for the City-by-City ministry and the emails that have lead us in prayer this year for our city, states, and country.  It has been a blessing and a number of people have joined in the prayer project here in Chattanooga, TN.  While we have not reached the goal that I desire for our country (righteous leadership under God’s direction, justice revealed and rectified in the 2020 election and evil exposed in all areas from the pandemic to child trafficking) I do believe the body of believers has faithfully petitioned the Throne Room of God and become a stronger army fortified in faith and committed to following God, not man! Bless you for your leadership!

I have tagged along since the early weeks. Sometimes I print out the current week, tape it to my prayer door and declare it each day. Thank you for sharing your passion to pray locally and get involve locally. I’m trying to stir up some of my neighbors to pray about local issues. God is good all the time.

Praise God for the gifts and callings on your life that you share with all of us. About 14 of us pray every Tuesday and have been for last 3 years all along these lines for our nation. God bless you and keep on the firing line and we will also. We have the weapons and they are great!!!!

Virginia D. – Bellville, Texas

Your writing brings so much encouragement and it helps me know how to pray in these challenging days! God is still in the throne and His hand will restore peaceful order in our country. Bless you!

Thank you so much for your part in rebuilding the church and America. I have printed many of the weeks out and passed them out at our business.

Thanks for your diligence in putting out the weekly prayer memo. I have been with you almost from the beginning. I lead a National Prayer Watch here in Michigan every Tuesday at noon. We often pray along the lines you write. We have been meeting for 20 years, 8-14 people. We believe the Lord is cracking the wickedness as we keep wielding the sword. May the Lord continue to protect you both as you write these memos. May He hide you and your family from the enemy and surround you with angelic protection. Blessings!

We stand with you in your powerful declaration from God’s Word for His foundation of justice and righteousness to reign supreme over the USA ?? and the world. May the lies of the enemy be exposed for all to see as they are caught in their own trap.

These prayers are powerful and helpful. I’m encouraged with the specifics in your prayers and that you are persistent in prayer. I know that when I speak forth the prayers that many others are praying the same pray and there is great power in that agreeing prayer. Thank you for your courage to continue to stand in difficult times.
