What has happened (and continues to happen) the last couple of weeks is the focus of this week’s prayer.
Did you know:
1. Pennsylvania joined 23 other states that have implemented automatic voter registration to “increase voter engagement and turnout.” aka—let anyone vote, citizen or not, to steal the election. 23 states have implemented this!
2. This past week Joe Biden spoke at the General Assembly of the United Nations to urge the ongoing defense and protection of Ukraine’s sovereignty even as he undermines ours. Let’s not forget it was in February, bypassing congressional approval, he turned over America’s sovereignty in health issues to the World Health Organization. If not stopped, it will go into effect sometime between May-Sept 2024. Ignore the “fact-checkers” that say it ain’t so. Do pay attention to the resolution senators on both sides are using to try to stop the insanity.
From “The Stream”, these are just some of the headlines from this past week:
· A cargo train filled with hundreds of jubilant people hoping to enter illegally rumbles toward the border.
· Over 2200 illegal immigrants cross the border near Eagle Pass in one night.
· A Border Patrol agent in San Diego tells illegal immigrants pouring off a bus, “you’re free to go” anywhere in the U.S.
· Friday-Monday 35,000 illegal immigrants crossed the border, not including the gotaways.
· The Biden Administration is fighting an effort to have the government release information on illegal immigrants being considered for arrest and deportation, including their gang, cartel or terror ties. They cite “privacy” rights.
· Half-a-million Venezuelans, who came illegally to our country, were given “Temporary Protected Status,” granting them work permits and deportation protection. Approx 7,000 people entered in 72 hours—and it continues.
· Documents uncovered by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) indicate DHS has a new program that allows illegals to fly directly to the U.S. city of their choice using the government’s CBP One app. According to CIS, some 210,000 people have taken advantage of the program since January.
The “homeless crisis” in our nation, that has infiltrated all of our cities, has been simply about moving those flooding our borders across the country, bankrupting our system, giving them free food, housing and even protected status now with no strings attached. It has also allowed sleeper cells of terrorists in who are ready to activate at a moment’s notice who have been strategically placed all around our nation.
The ONLY thing that can help us now is God. This isn’t fear-mongering…it is just where we are at and why we pray. We do need a miracle.
Father, we come before You knowing that You are in control and nothing is too difficult for You. In the natural this is overwhelming, frightening and looks impossible. But we know that You are the God of the impossible. When Jehoshaphat was told 3 armies were headed toward them intent on annihilating the Israelites, it was impossible then as well—but You implemented Your plan of deliverance.
So we call upon You as our deliverer and recount the miracles You have done in the past in impossible situations to remind You and remind ourselves:
1. You delivered the Jews from a king’s edict that gave permission for them to be destroyed and all they had stolen. But You foiled the plot, delivered them and the orchestrator was hung on his own method of destruction (Esther).
2.You parted the Red Sea for the Israelites as they were trapped with Pharaoh’s army behind them. When it appeared they had no way out, You made a way and then destroyed Pharaoh’s army (Exodus 14).
3. When King Saul was determined to kill David and unleashed all his army to do so, David was hidden and protected. In the end it was King Saul and his administration that were destroyed (I Sam 31).
4. When Jehoshaphat and the Israelites were facing 3 enemy armies, after they fasted and prayed corporately, they didn’t even have to fight, but stood still and watched their enemies destroy each other! (2 Chron 20).
Over and over throughout history You have delivered Your people. We remind ourselves of what You have done in the past and what You can still do today. For we know that You are the same yesterday, today and forever, and as we humble ourselves and pray we ask that You would deliver us as well—deliver America. And so Lord we recount Your goodness and Your Word back to You for You said You watch over Your Word to perform it.
We take our stand as watchmen on the wall to declare that America will return to You and that their plan of destruction would be foiled.
We declare our borders secured! That this onslaught of humanity, both terrorists, criminals and those just seeking a better life, who have been allowed into our country and access to the rights and privileges of U.S. citizens, would no longer eat the fruit of our labors or steal our harvest.
We declare a protection over the wealth of this nation that no longer will our tax-dollars be stolen by this administration and used for their own agenda or to pad their pockets. No longer will our economy be shut down and destroyed, jobs stolen and our ability to use our own resources blocked to pad the pockets of other nations. We say NO MORE!
No longer will those who simply seek a better life, be manipulated to come here and then their children trafficked or enslaved into labor camps from which they can never escape. OR those who come and simply eat off our welfare. That the bleed would stop.
We send forth your mighty host to expose the lies, corruption and fraud. Together with them we uproot and tear down, destroy and overturn, build and plant, so that Your plans and purposes will prevail again in our land. We declare the Word of the Lord is our foundation and that pride, offense and deception that has led to insanity be uprooted and that truth and righteousness will prevail.
