Some may call it coincidence, but personally, I don’t really believe in “coincidences.” Let’s consider what has happened in just the last week or so.
On March 26 the cargo barge Dali (means “goddess of the hunt”) rammed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge causing it to collapse. That disaster happened just hours after America abstained from a vote at the U.N. that abandoned Israel. Because America refuse to veto the vote, (which we could have) the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militants—which protects Hamas. Was the bridge’s collapse the final warning of America’s collapse?
That move was reminiscent of a ploy Obama did just before leaving office. He had the U.N. American delegate abstain from voting which allowed a resolution to demand an end to Israeli settlements on Palestinian territory. America has long vetoed such attacks against Israel, but not Obama. “The Obama administration’s decision to abstain represented a break from the longstanding U.S. policy of shielding Israel from U.N. reproaches,” according to an article from “The Hill.”
A couple of weeks before Biden abandoned Israel, Senator Chuck Schumer (D) denounced Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu pressing for a new election to remove Netanyahu.
To add to these egregious actions against Israel, on March 30, Joe Biden declared March 31, the day which many churches and Christians celebrate the victorious resurrection of Christ over sin and death, as “Transgender Day Of Visibility.” In his proclamation Biden criticized “extremists” in Republican-led states, who have passed laws protecting children from life-altering gender procedures and conservatives who have fought to remove sexually explicit books from school libraries.
It was yet another arrogant, “in your face” move in a matter of days by the current administration drawing a line of demarcation to “sanctify” sin and renounce Israel. The battle lines could not be more clear.
Then consider the coming solar eclipse, (Monday, April 8) which conveys an undeniable spiritual message of warning. The eclipse’s path will go over SEVEN cities named Ninevah. Remember Ninevah was given a warning and opportunity to repent..and DID! “Yet 40 days and Nineveh will be overthrown. THEN the people of Nineveh believed in God and called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them. (Jonah 3:5-6). When word of Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he issued a proclamation for the entire city to repent and fast. May America…may Biden and his administration, also repent as Ninevah did! The name Ninevah means “Dwelling of Descendents” and Jonah means “Dove.” Think about it. The dove was a sign and America is a “dwelling of descendents” may we pay attention to the signs in the heavens and repent.
Is this all coincidence? I would say no. Historically, the people of a nation have been held accountable for the evil or sinful actions of their leaders. Throughout history when a country took action against Israel “the apple of God’s eye” disaster followed. Consider the 10 times America has been hit with major disasters following attempts to divide the land of Israel. (Click here for that document.) (Note: there have been more times of disaster from other actions…)
We must pray. A close friend had a dream this past week of the U.S. military troops being ambushed. It was a vivid picture of ISIS operatives attacking & massacring our military while they slept in outpost-like areas and were caught off guard. Many may remember back in June 2020 when Pastor Dana Coverstone had a dream in which he saw Chinese and Russian police/military occupying Washington, D.C. He believed that occupation was imminent. (Which did not occur in the timing he described.) But what we do know is one of the hardest aspects of prophetic words is the timetable. Prophetic voices, sometimes ascribe something as imminent but may not occur for days, weeks or years. There needs to be a caution that we don’t apply our timeframe to God’s. Certainly there have been prophetic words that have been wrong. But others, I believe, as in Kim Clement’s “two terms for Trump” were not. Time will tell… In the meantime, Lord have mercy upon our nation!
Father, forgive us for what Biden and his administration have done as they followed Obama’s example to refuse to veto a U.N. resolution that would have protected Israel, our closest ally, and the apple of your eye! Forgive us for the bold proclamation Biden made for “transgender visibility” on the very day that many were celebrating the Resurrection of Christ—a day from freedom of sin and death as Biden sanctioned sin and death.
There has been no reverence or fear of God by this administration. We have watched helplessly as Executive Order after Executive Order was passed stripping us of freedoms, and protection over jobs, finances, our border and sanctioning and legalizing that which You call sin. Lord we pray that Biden and those running the White House from behind the scenes would repent of their evil. But Lord, if they refuse, please do not hold us accountable for the murder, sin and evil that has been done under their illegitimate rule. We did not elect them and yet, You have allowed them to remain in these stolen positions… We know that this has continued to reveal and expose evil and for revealing the depth of America’s depravity, corruption and how far we have fallen as a nation that once revered You.
Forgive us. We repent on behalf of these actions. Not only from this administration but from years past as we have been complacent and allowed evil to run amok. We call on You earnestly that each may turn from their wicked ways and from the violence in their hands. Who knows but that You may yet turn, relent and withdraw Your burning anger so that we will not perish. See us O Lord. May America turn from her wicked ways and if so please relent concerning the calamity coming our way.
We see the sword is coming upon our land. Help us to blow the trumpet and warn the people—as Jonah did—that those who will hear the sound will take heed and turn from the corruption and sin. May their blood not be on our hands.
Grant us grace and wisdom to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. Give us strength to persevere. And as we do so, we declare that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under our feet!
