We all know for years Disney has been indoctrinating children and families with witches/witchcraft inserted into almost every show and treated as normal. Is it any wonder that the younger generations don’t seem to understand the difference between divination vs. divine. Spirit-led vs. spiritism. Prophet vs. psychic. I’ve been told by some they are all the same. But there is a key difference, the SOURCE of power behind it! Deception has blinded many to this important fact.
This past week I was involved in praying for someone who had been emersed in doing drugs, drinking, tarot cards and wicca. They were in mental torment, depression, cutting and filled with suicidal thoughts. When I explained that they had opened the door to demonic activity by their actions, she said she didn’t disagree. She agreed for a prayer team to pray over her saying she was desperate to be free! But as we prayed, while she was willing to renounce her activity in some areas, she refused to renounce her alignment with wicca and tarot cards. These were familiar spirits that she had grown to like. We could go only so far with our prayers because although she said she wanted to be free, she wasn’t willing to give up the feeling of “power” she felt from those activities—even thought it was trying to kill her. I look around today and see many caught in this trap as they have opened the door to these seemingly “innocent” enticements that take them deep into bondage and deception.
So what do we do? Can we still pray and see breakthrough? Yes and we must. We must pray that their eyes are opened and the strongholds broken. How many are under this demonic deception, oppression and even possession? By the looks of what is in movie theaters, on book shelves, video games and coming through the radio, I would say many.
Father, we declare that You are Lord of all. You are the Great IAM, King of kings and Lord of lords. Satan may rule this world for now…but YOU are the true King and we declare that You will reign and rule once again. We bind the satanic deception that has been loosed into our nation via media sources such as television, movies, music, books, video games, horoscopes, tarot cards, witchcraft, crystals, etc. We pray for those who believe they are just as an innocent hobby that they will come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil that has blinded them and held them captive to do his will.
We plead the blood of Jesus over our nation, our cities, our homes and family. This nation was birthed by Your hand and dedicated to You. We declare not only WERE we a Christian nation, but we ARE a Christian nation and we will return to our roots. We repent on behalf of those in leadership who have denounced You and tried to lead our nation away from You and into demonic alliances. We uproot in prayer the power of the demonic that has been invited into our land through alignment with Satan via drugs, alcohol, horror movies, Ouija boards, tarot cards, books, movies, horoscopes, crystals, etc. Just as Paul took authority over the harassing spirit that followed him around in Acts 16 and he cast it out, so we take authority over these harassing spirits and command them to go from our cities, state and nation. Cleanse our land Lord. We draw a blood line around our families, our homes, our city, etc. We declare that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
We bind and cast out the spirits of witchcraft, deception and lies that have blinded people to the true nature behind these tools. We declare these spirits and their tools are not welcome in any venue in our cities and states. We declare our schools, theaters, tv stations and bookstores free of movies, television shows, books and games featuring witchcraft, demonic activity, psychics, paranormal, and horror flicks. As eyes are opened, may there be no appetite for them, but for the TRUE supernatural power of God.
We pray for clarity in minds and hearts to recognize the difference between divination and the divine. Spirit-led vs. spiritism. Prophet vs. psychic, etc. May our children, families, friends and our nation not buy the lie of satanic power but open their eyes that Satan only comes to steal, kill and destroy. You said You would instruct us and teach us in the way we should go and guide us with Your eye upon us. May it be so, Lord!
You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure us. As your disciples, You have given us authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
We will walk in that authority and reclaim our land. We reclaim our government and judicial system. We reclaim our schools. We bind the demonic power operating in those leaders and declare their assignment to deceive and destroy America and Americans is over and their power denied by blood of Jesus. Their claim to America broken. Our covenant is with You. Guide us Holy Spirit and give us boldness to stand fast against that which You have already conquered.
