Week 120 – In God We Trust
Thank you for your patience in receiving this week’s e-mail. I didn’t want to sound melodramatic when I stated “Under Attack” earlier. But there were no other words to describe what had happened.
Since Friday my computer shut down. The new charger wouldn’t work and I was still locked out of my computer for 3 days. Our internet stopped working. Next, the backup source stopped working! Then yesterday I fell and wound up in Urgent Care with a possible broken ankle.
When I finally got home last night I was still trying to attempt to send out an email to you from my phone and could barely get enough signal to send the short note you received. Today although some issues have resolved, (I have my computer working again!) the internet issue isn’t. Every 2-3 minutes I get knocked off, saving my work every 1-2 minutes as I’ve had to start over multiple times. Sigh.
Thank you to the many who emailed to let me know you were praying!! It was so welcomed! Good news is my ankle isn’t broken and I am not stopping!
This week’s prayer update:
I know many are discouraged from the mid-term results. I’ve listened to Conservative media pundits as they grasp for straws about why the expected Red Wave didn’t materialize. I’ve heard some say there was no change. None of that is true. The “God’s got this!” is true, but does little to reassure the masses.
Note: For real election info of what happened and prayer join a special Zoom prayer meeting tonight at: https://bit.ly/AwakeOKprayer Meeting ID: 941 5491 0384 Passcode: 195937)
Here’s what happened and how we need to continue to pray.
While we didn’t see the predicted “Red Wave,” we should have. If you look at our nations historical pattern of voting it has always been consistent. Whatever Party is in the majority, at mid-term they will lose seats and usually so many they become the minority. Similarly, if a president has low approval ratings, as Biden certainly did, the voters will vote the opposite party. Not only did that not happen, but the Democrats actually gained seats in some areas. It’s. Not. Possible.
As we still await the results for the House, the Republican’s once strong lead continues to dwindle. Not to be pessimist, but I doubt in the end Republicans will come out on top. They can’t afford to let us. With Biden’s incredibly low approval rating and 75% of ALL voters saying they were dissatisfied with the current direction of our nation, it is impossible to have the outcome we saw.
This was not a fair election and there are numerous reasons why—and provable. I won’t go into the details here. I do outline many in our Destiny Builders monthly newsletter.
(If you don’t receive that you can request it by emailing here. Subject line: monthly newsletter. It goes out later this week.)
For those of us who know that the 2020 election was theft, then what happened in the mid-terms came as no surprise. What WOULD have been a surprise is if the predicted rout, that even the liberal media predicated, would have happened by an organic vote. But they couldn’t afford to let that happen. There has been a referendum on Biden and his policies, not only by the majority of American citizens, but I believe by Heaven.
So what happened last week and what do we do now? I think it’s important to recognize that God’s eyes were on a bigger picture than America’s election. His eyes are on the world and for revival. That’s always been his end goal. Had Republicans overwhelmingly been put back into leadership then I believe the needed heart transformation would have stopped. For without transformed hearts we won’t see transformation in our world.
So here we are. On the precipice of a revival, but which sadly and historically comes through crisis, chaos and persecution. What we have seen so far is a drop in the bucket to what we are about to see, but fear not for In God We Trust. He has NEVER forsaken His people, His Remnant, who are praying.
How do we pray now? In many ways the same as before—for revival. For our nation and the world to return to the fear of the Lord. For a Great Awakening to happen again as people cry out to Him and recognize—finally—that He is our only hope. We pray for the billion soul harvest. What we are about to live through may not be fun in a practical sense, but it will be glorious in other ways for we are going to see God at work and exalted. We now have no election waiting in the wings on which to hope. Our hope has to be in God. But what we will see are those who would have never turned to Him before this, suddenly on their knees crying out to Him as gas prices go up, food and water becomes scarce, fuel shortages ensue, etc.
But fear not. Keep your eyes on Him and TRUST AT ALL TIMES. He protected His people in the past and will protect us now. He is the God who provides! This is truly not a time to fear. So ignore what they are telling you and recognize that we are on a path of a Great Awakening.
Father,
We pray for all who are discouraged after the mid-term elections and feel that their prayer had no value and was not effective. Just as you did with Elisha’s servant, open our eyes to see from Your perspective and with Your heart. I pray for those who want to walk away from prayer, from voting, from Church. Please strengthen their hearts today and renew their strength for the journey ahead. Just as you gave Elijah bread and water to sustain him for days on end, do so with us both spiritually and physically as needed.
We pray that we will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. You have been separating the sheep from the goats and with each passing day more comes to light. We pray for those who have aligned themselves with darkness out of their own blindness and pride and pray that they will return to You before it is too late.
Father we set our feet upon the Rock. We will not be shaken. We will not be moved but our eyes are on You. Though a force comes against us in this we will be confident that You arm us with strength and keep our way secure. Though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is there within, she will not fall; God will help at the break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; but He lifts His voice and the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress!
He delivers us from our strong enemy and from those who hated us for they are too mighty for us, but not for You Lord. For through You we can run through a troop and leap over a wall. Your way is blameless, and Your Word tried and true. You are a shield to all who take refuge in You as we put our trust in You. For who is God, but the Lord and who is a rock, except our God!!
