Why do people fight for evil? More often than not, it is not because THEY are evil, but they are deceived. In that deception, they become convinced that they are fighting for a good cause. The problem is there is a veil over their eyes. They only see part.
Wherever there is deception, you will always find its twin offense. People get offended, which opens the door to deception and from there operate from deception as it if were fact. They believe it to be “righteous indignation.” It is not.
It is why we see people now advocating so hard for the right to murder a baby in the womb and declare it is the mother’s right. When put in those terms what sane person would agree to that? But it is never positioned in that way. It is cloaked in deception that it is a “health right,” a “civil right” and it is not a baby but a “fetus” who feels no pain. It is complete deception.
This week we not only continue to pray regarding the area of abortion, but to pull down deception in every area where good people are advocating for evil things.
Regarding the abortion issue: This week the so-called ‘‘Women’s Health Protection Act” (H.R. 8296) was passed by the House. In a nutshell it would essentially restore legalized abortion at the federal level and remove the ability for the states to decide. It would, in fact, be worse than what we had before. It is to be voted on in the Senate this week. We need to pray that this evil federal overreach is blocked and this veil of deception removed.
Where are there other areas in which we see people have taken offense and then moved into deception? Probably too numerous to count. Consider the J6 meetings and televised broadcasts which are intent on stirring people into offense at what those now in power say happened. It is all calculated narratives intent on stoking people into a “righteous judgement” against a perceived evil. But it is all deception.
I encourage you to take time before praying this week to list the number of areas where you can see this either nationally, in your city/state or your personal life and family. List them and then lift them before the Lord as we pray this week to see the spirit of deception and its twin offense removed and cast into the sea.
Father, we come into Your Presence with thanksgiving and praise and declare You are the mighty God and nothing is too difficult for You. We never want to enter Your presence without acknowledging who You are and what You have done. We love You.
Lord we pray regarding the spirit of offense and deception which are at epidemic levels blinding multitudes to the truth and as a result many have unwittingly aligned with evil.
First we humble ourselves before You and ask if there is any deception or offense operating in us to reveal it to us. (Sit a moment. Ask the Lord if there is any area in which this has gained entrance in your heart. If so repent of it and remove it. Note: Any areas where there is anger is a good place to start.)
Second, we pray for those who are operating under the spirit of deception and who have believed a lie. We pray that the veil of deception would be removed so they could see in full and know the truth and be set free from the spirit of offense and pride that has given this spirit access into their hearts and minds. Lord, especially within the Church, may we walk free of those spirits and stop accusing and fighting among ourselves. Instead please unite us on Your Word and Truth.
We pray for those who defend abortion as a mother’s right to murder her own child. We pray regarding the ongoing narrative which has caused many to rise up in anger at the reversal of Roe v Wade. May their eyes be opened to what abortion truly is. We pray not only in the area of abortion, but every single area in which evil and lies have been unleashed across our nation and around the world and created deception. May the FULL truth come to light.
1. We lift up the area of the January 6 committee where they refuse to interview the people who blocked President Trump’s request for the National Guard. They also refuse to release that information to the public which would destroy their narrative. May the full truth be released now.
2. We pray regarding the LGBTQ/transgender agenda where they continue to try to deceive our children and the nation to believe there are multiple genders and work to influence confusion upon our children to have life-altering sex-transition surgeries and ignore the science. May all their efforts come to an end.
3. We pray regarding the 2020 presidential election and ongoing elections in which they continue their lies that there was no evidence and that our elections are safe. Bring everything into the light and bring justice.
4. We pray regarding the COVID vaccine which they also insist is safe but yet hide the mounting number of vaccine-related injuries and sudden deaths of young people which they have now named—Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS)—but refuse to connect it to the obvious source.
(Now write down and name other areas you see and which are affecting you and your area and add them to the list above.)
Father we know our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Help us to remember that and to not lash out at the people but pull down the demonic strongholds. We pray they will come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil that has held them captive to do His will. Pull back the blinders Lord and allow them to see with eyes of truth.
We pray for those who have intentionally deceived. Who ARE evil and with brazen hearts lie against the truth. May they fall into the pit they have dug and their own actions come back upon them.
We know you are slow to anger and great in power O Lord and that You will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Father we lift Your Word before You and as You have said, “Whatever they devise against You that You will make a complete end of it. And that distress will not rise up twice. Although they appear to be full of strength and likewise many, even so, they will be cut off and pass away. Father break this yoke off us and tear off our shackles to this ungodly cabal.
Father we lift up (your city, your state) and our nation and continue to cry out for deliverance from the ungodly and their evil schemes. We thank you for Your Word of deliverance that you are breaking off these chains and setting the captives free. We pray for our children, our children’s children and our entire family line and stand fast that all pride, deception and offense that has kept them from receiving You and knowing the truth, will be removed and for a mighty revival to spring forth so that ALL of my family are serving You. I stand as a watchman over my (your city and state) and (your nation) and declare that we will be saved. That the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea and those who have promoted evil will be shamed and dishonored for their evil deeds. I declare we WILL see the salvation of the Lord.
