It’s time we see the mouths of the lions shut!

In January the Lord woke me with a word that is both an encouragement and a reminder that I want to share with you now.

It is from Hebrews 11. In verse 32 it refers to men and women in days past who rose up in courage and faith. Gideon, Samson, David, Samuel, the prophets…

Remember they weren’t always full of courage. Gideon’s story clearly reveals that, and yet each of them rose up by faith and when they did miracles were the result. If it could happen, then it can happen now.

May we be men and women of faith and rise up in courage, despite all odds in these desperate times. Never before have we seen such blatant lies hitting us daily not only from the White House, but arriving in our mailboxes via campaign mailers!

I’m seeing even “Christian” candidates speaking half-truths (which let’s be clear a half-truth is a lie) and when confronted refuse to back down, but instead double down. It is deception. And when people don’t do their research into the candidates, or the bills being promoted, it is easy to end up voting and accepting those who lack integrity. We must be discerning.
Also this past week the House passed HR2377 which if passed in the Senate allows guns to be taken from law-abiding citizens without due process just because of an anonymous “tip.” This is the first of two bills they are trying to push through quickly to steal our right to bear arms and protect our families and our homes. Five Republicans voted with Democrats on this bill!
HR2377 goes before the Senate this week. Pray that it is defeated!

We cannot be complacent. We must be fervent in prayer and action. We must speak up. We must vote! We must get involved! And we cannot vote simply based on the letter denoting the political party affiliation of the candidate which is beside their name! In my state there are several who are Democrats but running as Republicans. Do you know what is happening in your state?

We will not be complacent! We will be like the men and women of faith in days of old and see miracles and revival. We will see our nation saved for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Father,
Thank you that You are the mighty God! You are the Lord of all Creation and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You give us eyes to see through eyes of faith. Help us to see this battle from Your perspective for You have raised us up and seated us with You in the heavenly places. That is where we want to see from.

We know that a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. So help us to be spiritually discerning. We pray that for ourselves, our family, and our nation that this veil of deception would be completely pulled back to reveal what is truth and righteousness, who and what is corrupt and may hearts be transformed to care and call to You.

Like Abraham, we refuse to be moved by what we see with our natural eyes but instead keep our eyes on Your Word and Your Promise. We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary and subject to change.

And we declare IT WILL CHANGE! We command these mountains of lies, deception and corruption to be cast into the sea. YOU CAN NO LONGER DOMINATE AND CONTROL OUR NATION OR OUR WHITE HOUSE OR OUR CITIES OR STATES.

Like David and the heroes of faith of old we choose to walk by faith and not by sight. And we declare that through faith we will conquer kingdoms, administer justice, and gain what has been promised!

We will shut the lion’s mouths!

We will quench the fury of the flames, and escape the edge of the sword. Our weakness is turned to strength and we will be powerful in battle and route the foreign armies!
