There are two things the Lord has spoken to me regarding 2022. It will be a global return to the fear of the Lord. Regarding how we pray, it will be a year to contend.
We have been contending and need to continue, but it will be a year to contend especially for healing and miracles. This will be a sign and wonder that comes with revival that has begun. It will be more important in this coming year than we have ever seen before. America WILL be saved, but that is because PEOPLE are being saved and giving their hearts to the Lord. THAT is what will transform America and returns us to a godly nation.
This week’s prayer declaration is one I hope you will print out and speak out throughout the year. As you know praying and declaring His Word is sending it back to Him and coming into agreement with His promises which is vital for this hour. (For scriptural teaching on why we declare click here.)
Heavenly Father,
We come before you first in praise, worship and adoration acknowledging that You are the Lord God Almighty, the Creator, the Holy One and the Ancient of Days. We honor You and worship Your holy name. We dedicate this year to You from the start that we will honor You in all we do and all we say.
We humble ourselves before You. We will walk in holiness and the fear of the Lord and declare that for ourselves, our family, and that (name your city, state and nation) will do so as well.
We pray that the strongman of pride be uprooted and removed and in its place revival fire will sweep across our nation and the world for hearts to bow in reverence to You. We declare revival is coming to (city, state and nation) and we declare that signs, wonders and miracles are coming as well and that the glory of the Lord will be poured out.
We declare this day and over 2022 that:
· Justice will prevail, the righteous will be vindicated, and corruption will bow its knee.
· Truth will be again be honored and spoken in our land and that the lying lips will be silent which speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt.
· No longer will corrupt judges sit in seats of authority. No longer will the just or innocent be declared guilty nor the corrupt declared righteous. For differing weights and differing measures are an abomination before You and we declare unjust judges who ignore the Constitution and who ignore Your Word will be uprooted from their positions and from our land.
· That You will restore our leaders as in days of old, our rulers as at the beginning. Afterward, we will be called a City of Righteousness and a Faithful City.
· We declare that to do righteousness and justice will be the hunger of our hearts not only for our leaders but for our nation.
· We declare that no longer will the unborn be sacrificed and slaughtered under legalized protection, but that abortion and all laws supporting the murder of the unborn or just born will be reversed and uprooted.
· We declare that You are turning the hearts of mothers and fathers back to be mothers and fathers and for their children. That they will desire to raise their children in the things of the Lord. We know that when this happens the desire for abortion will no longer even exist.
· We declare that the scoffers will be driven out and with them contention, strife and dishonor will cease.
· We declare over America that we will love purity of heart and our speech will be gracious. That we seek the wisdom of the Lord and as we do that our eyes will be enlightened to know the hope of our calling. We declare that revival which has begun will spread like wildfire and America will be saved because PEOPLE are being saved.
· That the execution of justice is coming and it will bring joy to the righteous but terror to the workers of iniquity and will drive them to their knees to call upon Your name.
· That the violence of the wicked will drag them away because they refuse to act with justice. No longer will our leaders be instruments of evil or cause fear for those with good behavior. Lord you are our avenger and Your wrath will be seen upon those who practice evil.
· It is the hour for us to awaken from sleep for salvation is nearer than believed. We declare that America is no longer “woke” but awake, that the veil of deception would be ripped away and that truth will prevail along with the fear of the Lord.
· We declare that the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Then the nations will return to and acknowledge You as the Messiah Who will stand as a signal for the people and the Remnant will remain.
· For You are our salvation, we will trust and not be afraid. You are our strength and our song and You have become our salvation.
· Of those who say to the wicked, “You are righteous,” no longer will people turn a blind eye. No longer will it be accepted. But in this coming revival of holiness and righteousness, those who do so will be called out by the people who courageously stand and no longer will nations ignore it, but will instead ignore and abhor those who align with the ungodly.
· The righteous may fall seven times, but will rise again, but the wicked will stumble during the coming calamity. We will not fret because of these evildoers, nor be envious of the wicked, for there will be no future for those who do evil and their lamp will be put out. Instead, we pray for them as the wave of justice approaches that they will repent before it is too late and bow before their Maker.
· In times of disaster we will not wither; in days of famine we will enjoy plenty.
· We declare for those who revere Your name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. We will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
· We will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
· We pray and declare over righteous leaders, pastors, Your Remnant and our family that we will not fear for You rescue us from the net of the trapper and from the deadly plague. You cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings we take refuge for Your faithfulness is a shield and wall.
· We will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day. Of the plague that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that devastates at noon. Though a thousand fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand, it shall not approach us. We will only look on with our eyes and see the retaliation against the wicked. For You are our place of refuge.
· We KNOW our God and we are strong and will do exploits THIS year. We WILL see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
