Dear City Intercessor, The word for this week is to “hold steady!” In the days ahead it is imperative that not only do we hold steady and keep our eyes on Him, but that we encourage others to do the same. We want to encourage you to take your eyes off the waves and the storm. Remember what He has spoken, remain humble of heart and pray. We are about to see a mighty miracle. The world is watching and will see it as well.
Heavenly Father,
Despite the storm and the turmoil around us, we keep our eyes on You and hold steady to the Word of the Lord. We will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead we choose to keep our eyes on you and guard our heart with all diligence.
You said when we pray, we must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Lord we have asked for your deliverance of America and we do not doubt that Your hand is upon us and that You will deliver us.
We declare we are strong and very courageous and careful to obey Your laws. We will not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that we will be successful wherever we go. We will keep this Book of the Law always on our lips; and will meditate on it day and night, so that we will be careful to do everything written in it. Then we will be prosperous and successful. We will be strong and courageous. We will not be afraid; or discouraged, by the circumstances around us for You said You would be with us wherever we go.
Lord we love You. And put You in remembrance of Your Word that You said You will rescue and protect us as we acknowledge You. You said if we will call on You, You will answer us. That You would be with us in trouble to deliver us and honor us and that you would satisfy us with long life and show us You salvation.
We ask you for that not only for our families, but also for our President and His family that you would rescue them from the onslaught, vindicate our president and show him Your saving hand. We put our trust in You Lord and stand fast that You are in control and will show Yourself strong.
