Hear our cry O Lord and attend unto our prayer, for we cry out to You regarding the lies that have been poured out over America like water. They have been poured into our young people, against our president and have brought fear and confusion. We ask for your intervention so that truth would be revealed.
Lord, we ask that you would expose all lies. Bring them down to the ground and let truth once again reign in its place. Father you said lying lips are an abomination to You, but those who act faithfully are Your delight. (Prov. 12:22). Lord, please take delight in us as we call down those who speak with lying lips. You said you would judge between the righteous and the unrighteous and so Lord we call upon You to do that and show yourself strong in our nation.
We bind the lying spirits that have been unleashed in our nation. For you said what is bound in heaven, is bound on earth. You said a false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will perish. Lord may the fear of God come upon our land so that those who speak lies are quickly exposed and dealt with and all will see it is You that have brought it about. (Prov 19:9) O God, we call on You regarding the media who have taken over the airwaves of television, radio, print and social media. They are silencing truth. Daily they call truth a lie and lies truth. They seek to confuse and deceive. We bind those spirits of deception and lies that are controlling the media and we declare your assignment is finished. We take authority over you and declare you can speak out your lies no more.
Lord just as you shut the lion’s mouths in the days of Daniel, so they could not devour and consume him, so we ask that you would shut the mouths of the media who seek to destroy and consume our nation.
May the lying lips of the media be silenced which speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and con-tempt. For You said You would hide us in a secret shelter from their contentions, arguments, division and lawsuits. (Ps 31:18-20) As they seek to stir up division, contention and fear, may the trap they have laid, they fall into themselves.
Lord we ask that you wouldn’t be silent regarding this issue. For the wicked and the deceitful have opened their mouths against us, against the president and against this nation that You love. They have spoken with a lying tongue and with hateful words they have surrounded us and fought against us without cause. Lord we ask that you would fight with those who fight with us and contend with those who contend with us. We pray that their eyes will be opened to truth and that they will turn from the lies and deceit they speak daily against Your people. But Lord if they refuse, let their days be few and let another take their position (Prov 109: 1-3, 6-8 and Ps 35:1)
And now, O Lord, deliver us from their hand that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone are the Lord our God. (Is. 37:20) And may those who refuse to bow their knee to the name of Jesus to speak truth, may they be cast out and removed from their high positions and their places given to those who will walk with humility and truth.
