As of this writing the Democrats maintain the majority in the Senate and the Republicans have a slim majority with 219 seats in the House. What this will do is reveal the still hidden RINOS (Republicans In Name Only) who will thwart investigations into Biden and his son or who will side with Democrats to allow them to continue to push through the socialist legislation that we have experienced the last two years. It will be very telling. Painful but telling.
The election in Arizona is being contested by gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who by all accounts won, but which “results” show Democrat Katie Hobbs won. (By the way, did you know Hobbs was in charge of the election as Secretary of State? Think about that.)
Many Arizonans are currently double checking that their votes were counted and not “lost” or thrown out on technicalities. There is also a demand to the State Election Board for a completely new election on Dec. 6 free of the overwhelming “irregularities” that prevented people from voting or prevented their ballots from being tabulated—-which happened in numerous voting locations particularly in Maricopa county where this election was decided.
In the midst of the election chaos, the Senate is working to push through the “Respect for Marriage Act.” (Which is completely misnamed—as have been all the bills coming out of this administration.) The only “marriage” the bill respects is gay marriage.
In their vote last week they were joined by 12 Republicans who helped advance the legislation: Sens. Roy Blunt of Missouri, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Shelley Capito of West Virginia, Susan Collins of Maine, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Rob Portman of Ohio, Mitt Romney of Utah, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Joni Ernst of Iowa, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Todd Young of Indiana.
The House passed the legislation this past summer, but they must vote again to approved the amended legislation. If passed, it makes same-sex unions a protected class, and gives individuals the right to sue organizations for “discrimination.” It can also cause organizations to lose their tax status if they engage in the “discrimination.”
Senator Mike Lee introduced an amendment to protect religious freedom but it was ignored. An anemic amendment from Senators Susan Collins and Thom Tillis was passed, but is all show and no teeth. It claims to protect religious freedom but instead will subject those who stand behind the biblical definition of marriage to potentially ruinous litigation, while the tax-exempt status of certain charitable organizations, educational institutions, and non-profits will be threatened.
What we see are RINOS in the Senate right from the start. Will it be blocked in the House as it goes back for a vote. Let’s pray it does. It will certainly expose.
So we pray this week not only regarding that bill but also for the ongoing demand for a fair election in Arizona—that will hopefully also spark investigations into the irregularities and unnatural vote spikes that showed up in many of what appeared “close” races.
Father, we thank You that You are God. You are still in control and we put our trust in You. As we look at how You delivered Your people in the past who were in slavery to corrupt kings and systems, we know it got worse before it got better. But just as You delivered them then, we trust You that You will deliver us now from evil leaders, evil legislation, corruption and lawlessness.
Just as you delivered Lot and his family prior to destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, just as you delivered Noah and his family prior to the flood, just as you delivered the Israelites from the slavery of Pharaoh and protected them from the plagues, so Lord we know who you are. We know your acts as a good God, not just your deeds. And so on that we put our trust.
We pray for the protection of the definition of marriage to align with Your definition. That the “Respect for (Homosexual) Marriage Act” will fail even as it exposes socialist leaders working to destroy this nation—-in both parties. We recognize You are doing a deeper work bringing things to light. Father we DO NOT align with that bill or what it stands for and pray that it would not become the law of our land.
We continue to pray that all election fraud will be exposed. Where there are people in positions in which they did not rightfully win, even from before this election, we ask that You expose it all and the true winners put in those places. Where there are leaders who profess one thing but are another, expose them. Where the media has continued to coverup what has taken place and there continues to be censorship of truth, we bind that corruption and lawlessness and declare revival, righteousness and justice to prevail. We bind the lies and loose the truth.
We pray protection over President Trump, First Lady Melania and their family. His continued unwillingness to bow to corruption and their demands has made him Public Enemy #1 in their playbook. We declare that no harm will overtake them, and no disaster will come near them. For You command Your angels concerning them (and us) to guard in all our ways.
For those who still do not recognize Your hand on him, we pray that you would pull back the veil so that the globalists attempt to destroy him and the lies they have poured out can be seen clearly for what they are. Lord we pray that President Trump would recognize that his ability and help comes from You. That humility would replace pride and that we continue to remember You are our savior and hope, not any one person. May we see from Your perspective and keep all things in that perspective.
As they try to force feed us the “Respect” for Marriage Act, Lord we pray for a miracle that this ungodly legislation would be cast down along with its attempt to destroy the true meaning of marriage and steal our freedom to be able to defend Your definition of marriage.
Father give us courage to not back down, but remain steadfast in Your truth. Help us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Let truth prevail and Your will be done. Bring revival to our land.
